For your commercial kitchens in hotels and restaurants, Irvine International now provides high-tech kitchen hood suppression systems. These fire detection and suppression systems are affordable, easy to install, and easier to maintain.
How it Works
Our kitchen hood suppression system consists of just 3 components.
Cylinder Valve Assembly
This is a pressurised metal cylinder that contains either 6, 9, or 12 litres of extinguishing fluid. This extinguishing fluid is a standardised Class F chemical extinguisher. It is perfect for oil and grease-based fires that are so common in commercial kitchens. In most kitchen hood suppression systems, a Potassium compound is used which extinguishes grease fires through the process of saponification.
This is nothing but flexible and pressurised pneumatic tubing. It runs from the cylinder valve assembly, right along the kitchen chimney hood, and ends in a manual button. This pressurised pneumatic tube is usually pumped with 16 bars of Nitrogen gas. On the other hand, the button is a manual actuator that is usually placed near a fire exit. Although the system is automatic, the manual actuator can be used in case the automated detection fails.
This portion is entirely made up of sturdy stainless steel piping and nozzles. On one end, it connects to the cylinder valve assembly, and on the other end, it focuses two high-pressure jet nozzles right over the cooking area (i.e., on the burners). Once the pneumatic tubing detects a kitchen fire right below the chimney hood, it triggers this discharge system. The discharge system then sprays the liquid/foam chemical over the fire. This discharge settles over the burners and cools down to prevent re-ignition.
Industry-Standard Features
With the kitchen hood suppression systems provided by Irvine International, you can rest assured that your commercial kitchen will be protected from fire hazards at all times. Our kitchen hood suppression systems come with industry-standard features as well.

Dual action helps to not only extinguish the flame but also cuts off the energy supply to prevent re-ignition.
The Potassium extinguishing agent is usually water-based, making it eco-friendly as well.
It is easy to install, has flexible mounting for the discharge system, and needs no crimping.
